Mrs. Dorothy Marie "Lady" Moss was born on March 10, 1940 to the late Mr. Charlie Kittrell and the late Mrs. Florence Jones.

"Lady" went home to her Heavenly Father; Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 to be at rest for the first time.

The body will lie in state Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 from 1 -6 p.m. at V. K. Ryan and Son Funeral Home; Visitation with the family will be 4-6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. at White Springs U. P. B. Church; 124 W. 1st St.; Columbia, with Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. Elder Chris Norwood, Euloigst.

Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens; 2391 Nashville Highway; Columbia.

V. K. Ryan and Son Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, James Moss in 1999, her sister, Martha Ann Moss Armstrong, brother, William Moss, daughter, Linda Moss and son, Douglas Moss.

"Lady" was educated in the Maury County School System. She was employed for a number of years at the Tennessee Knitting Mills factory until it closed.

"Lady" professed a hope in Christ at an early age at the White Springs United Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Elder Frank Dowell, where she served on the usher board.

To know "Lady" was to love her, because she was a wonderful mother, sister and friend.

"Lady" leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her loving devoted children; Anita (Rev. Chris) Norwood, Monica (Mostafa) Ebrahim, Priscilla (Kevin) Lucas, Betty Moss, grandchildren; Nick Moss, Jacqueline Crawford, Lashaun Norwood, Natasha Norwood, Tavaris Norwood, Chaniqua (Benji) Venson, Mona Ebrahim, Zahrya Lucas, Fatima Ebrahim, Thomas Nicholson, Rickey, Shan, and Joseph McCoy; one great-grandchild, Hezeki Watkins; her brother, John Moss, and her twin brother, Donald Moss; sisters, Jennie Mae Vestal and Lula (Howard) Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
