Mr. Frank Winston Moss, age 87, was born December 1, 1933, to the late Mr. Winston Moss and Mrs. Florence "Mama Kitty" Jones Moss. He went to be at rest on Monday, June 28, 2021.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William C. "Skacey" Moss and John "Popcorn" Moss; sisters, Martha Armstrong and Dorothy "Lady" Moss.
The body will lie-in-state on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm at V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at White Springs United Primitive Baptist Church with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 pm.
Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Frank was known to everyone by "Kitty's Sonny", "Uncle Sonny" or "Pig." He was educated at West Brook. Frank had always stayed and worked on Ridley Farm until his health failed and his new home was NHC Nursing Home on Walnut Lane, Columbia, TN. To know him was to love him because he was a people person. He always loved to joke around and laugh with lots of conversations. He will be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sisters, Mrs. Lula (Howard) Bailey and Mrs. Jennie Vestal; brothers, Mr. Donald Moss and Campbell Ridley, Jr.; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His two special friends at NHC, Mr. Wendell Davis and Mr. Darrel Bates.
