BATON ROUGE, La. —
Frankie Jo Payne, 70, of Baton Rouge, La., died Sunday at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 19, 1937, at Cedar Branch, a daughter of the late Frank Ratcliff and Ella Ratcliff.
She was reared and received her early education at Pine Bluff. She lived in Arkansas until moving to Baton Rouge six years ago.
She attended the Baptist church.
Survivors include son, Roger E. Ratcliff of Florida; two sisters, Melba Thompson of Florida and Opal Stegman of Baton Rouge; and her caregiver and niece, Helen Joyce Merchant.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Payne; three brothers, Wallace Ratcliff, Conway Ratcliff and LaVerne Ratcliff; and one sister; Berta Fikes.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. James Watson officiating. Arrangements are by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
