Mildred Elizabeth (Rodgers) Nisonger "Loved by All" Mildred Elizabeth Nisonger passed away June 9, 2007. She was born Feb. 21, 1917 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Earnest Alva Fowlke and Esther Maria Hanks Fowlke. She is survived by her three sisters, her two children, four grandchildren and four great-grand children. After high school Mildred completed nurses training at the LDS Hospital prior to her marriage to Philip Ray Rodgers in 1941. Mildred and Ray resided in Washington DC where he was appointed to the National Labor Relations Board. Upon Ray's death in 1965, Mildred returned to Utah. She attended the University of Utah and had numerous church callings while working weekends at the LDS Hospital. She served as Captain of the Flat Iron Chapter of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers prior to her service on Temple Square. In 1984 Mildred married Bliss Enos Nisonger and the couple enjoyed traveling around the country, attending submariners' conventions, and visiting their grandchildren. Bliss passed away in 1997. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Union 11th Ward, 1433 Old Mission Rd. (7930 So), where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
