She was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. She had a variety of work opportunities, including a saleswoman at Auerbachs Department Store, a civil service secretary during World War II, a secretary at Geneva Steel, and the director of the Provo Senior Citizens Center.
She married Richard Lewis Larsen on September 25, 1950, in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they raised six children: Sanrolane (Malcolm) Richards; Annette Larsen; Richard J. (Maureen) Larsen; Shauna (Kenneth) VanWagoner; Lewis F. (Stephanie) Larsen; and Gregory K. (Katherine) Larsen. She has nineteen grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren.
As a resident of Provo, she loved her beautiful home near the BYU campus. She was active throughout her life in the LDS Church where she held numerous callings. She especially loved serving in the Provo Temple, doing family genealogy and Family Search indexing. She was a woman of great faith who dearly loved the Savior.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015, 1:00 p.m., at the Pleasant View 1st Ward Chapel, 650 East Stadium Avenue, Provo, Utah. A viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Condolences may be shared online at probstfamilyfunerals.com
