She was retired from Macy's and was a parishioner of Out Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband George L. Edelen; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Gary A. Edelen and his wife, Susan; two grandchildren, Jarrod Edelen and his wife Jennifer and Amy Medcalf and her husband, Gary Neal; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Haley and Kaitlin; and a brother, Donald Mattingly and his wife, JoAnn of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow at 2:30 pm in Lebanon National Cemetery.
