Mrs. Warren Dies; Restaurant Cashier

Mrs. Esther Warren, 58 years old, restaurant cashier, died yesterday in her home at 585 Howard Road, Greenwood.

Mrs. Warren, a resident of Indianapolis for 35 years, had worked at Sam's Subway, 3 East 28th Street, for the last 20 years. She was a member of Union Christian Church at Franklin.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburg.

She is survived by the husband, Fletcher T. Warren; a sister, Mrs. Calvin A. Wantland of Southport; four brothers, Orville A. Wirey of Speedway, Oris A. Wirey of Dunkirk, Marion E. Wirey of Las Vegas, Nev., and Floyd R. Wirey of Trafalgar.

GREENWOOD – Mrs. Esther Warren, 58, an eight year Greenwood Resident, died unexpectedly at her home at 585 Howard Road, Sunday.

A native of Johnson County, she was a resident of Indianapolis for 35 years before moving to Greenwood. She was employed as a cashier at Sam's Subway for 20 years.

The daughter of the late Alvin and Nettie Wirey, she is survived by her husband, Fletcher T., a sister, Mrs. Calvin A. Wantland; and brothers Orville, Oris, Floyd and Marion Wirey. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, here friend may call after 6 p.m. today.

Burial will be Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburg.
