(Sheean/Wirey) Gootee, Julianna (Sheean/Wirey) Leonard Sullivan, Michael David Sheean/Wirey, Steven Patrick Sheean/Wirey, and Richard S. Sheean/Wirey.

Francis Eugene Wirey, 64, of Santa Claus, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, July 8, 1996, in Santa Claus.
He retired from Carter-Lee Lumber Co. in Indianapolis.
Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Wirey of South Carolina; a son, Eric of Indianapolis; a sister, Delores Bowling of Indianapolis; two brothers, Wendell of Poland and Arthur D. of Franklin; and 18 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Vandiver-Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Fuller Funeral Home in Dale and from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Vandiver-Tudor Funeral Home.
