Crowell (married Francis Batey).

In 1850, Phebe Crowell, aged 38, was living in Brookhaven, New York, with her husband, Thomas Crowell, aged 35, and children, Ebenezer Crowell, aged 16, William Crowell, aged 13, Charles Crowell, aged 9, Hannah Crowell, aged 7, and Thomas Crowell, aged 1. Also living in the household was her widowed mother, Hannah Harned, aged 75. Her husband was shown to be a sailmaker.
