Ruby Nell Reynolds age 92 of Dowelltown passed away Sunday morning October 13, 2019 at N H C of Smithville.
She was born October 10, 1926 to her parents, the late William Carl and Geneva Walden Gibbs.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Reynolds; children, Grace Murphy, and John Robert Reynolds; grandchildren, Annetta Kilgore, and Ronnie Lee Murphy; sister, Margie Reynolds; brothers, Jr. Gibbs and Danny Gibbs. Ms. Reynolds was a member of Faith Congrational Methodist Church, worked in factories and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, William Floyd (Willie Jo) Reynolds of Liberty, Bernice Hendrixson of Dowelltown, and Helen Rose (Mark) Blanchard of Dowelltown; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Jennings of Hermitage, DeEtte Shelton of Dowelltown, Jewell Ponder of Smtihville, and Alma Montgomery of Dowelltown; brother, Billy Gibbs of Dowelltown; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 2:PM with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 1:PM until 8:PM and on Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
