Mrs. Geneva Gibbs,95, of Dowelltown, passed away Monday November 10, 2003 at Baptist Hospital of an extended illness. She was retired shirt fastory worker and a former telephone operator and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Daniel and Nancy Mahaley Hale Waldon; her husband; William Carl Gibbs; daughter, Margie Ray Reynolds; two grandchildren; Jackie Wayne Robinson and Pam Reed and one great granchild Annette Kilgore.
She is survived by her children; Ruby Reynolds; DeEtte Shelton, Billy Brown (Shirley) Gibbs, and Alma Jean(Jerry)
Montgomery all of Dowelltown; Irene (James) Jennings of Hermitage; William Carl Jr.(Betty Jane) Gibbs of Lebanon' Jewell(Bobby)Ponder of Smithville, Danny DeWitt Gibbs of Liberty; 21 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were John Robert Reynolds, John Broghden, Carl Lattimore,Michael Gibbs, Terry Hicks, David Cassity, Joe Kenneth White and Robert Reynolds.
