My Grandma, was born to George Martineau and his wife Sadie, on July 12, 1924. She was one of four children, born to such wonderful parents. She had 2 brothers, Robert and Draper, and one sister Doreen. She worked for Bell Canada as a young woman and met and married Joseph Louese. They had 2 children, Linda Jo and George Francis.
Linda married Clifford E."Bud" Bennett and they had 2 daughters and one son. Andrea, Bridget and Buddy. Buddy only lived a short time and as Grandparents they were saddened by this. My Grandma and Grandpap were the most amazing grandparents. They were kind and giving and most of all loving. But Grandma outshined all with the special way she had of loving, caring and giving, she never let me want for anything. She gave her all. She put everything she had into making me who I am today. "Grandma I will never forget the special things you did for me every day. You were amazing and you are so missed by your family. Meiko your lil chihuahua misses you so bad. He gets up in your chair and cuddles with your sweater, he stays there for hours just like he would do when you held him there so often. When not in your chair, he sits by your bedroom door in the hallway, you can tell he is looking for you and its so sad. I bought him a playmate, we named her Maggie (after you) & he adores her so. I wont ever forget you grandma, no one will ever make me feel so special like you did. I never had a doubt that you loved me. Thanks Gram" Everything I am today, is because she loved me. My Grandma was the best.
