CARL M. TIMM
Carl M. Timm, 83-year-old retired farmer, died at his home at 118 W. Sixth St., at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday after an extended illness.
A life-resident of Muscatine county, Mr. Timm was born Nov. 19, 1876, the son of Henry and Hannah Rohde Timm.
Mr. Timm was married Nov. 25, 1909, to Barbara Weiss at Muscatine. She preceded him in death. He was married May 3, 1919, to Carrie M. Herwig at Muscatine.
Mr. Timm was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. He served many years as vestryman at the church and also many years on the board of the Lutheran Home.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carrie M. Timm, at home; two sons, Harold C. Timm and Albert C. Timm; two brothers, Harry A. Timm and Paul Timm; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Weiss, Mrs. Emma Jones and Mrs. Henry Niemeier, all of Muscatine; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, one daughter, one son, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the George M. Wittich funeral home, with Rev. E. I. Hagerman in charge. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
