West Bountiful
Dies At His Home
Bryant Ashby passed away this Friday noon at his home in West Bountiful of a heart attack, after quite a long illness.
He was the son of Benjamin and Ann Chester Ashby. He had lived in West Bountiful all his life. He was sixty-four years old on the 13th of February last.
When a young man, Mr. Ashby filled a mission in New Zealand, and while there married Lydia Jordan.
Survivors include his widow and nine children, Alvin and Earsel of Bountiful, Mrs. LaVerne Fichner of Salt Lake and Alta, Louise, Vera, Chester, Horace, Geneve all of Idaho. Three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Page, Kamas, Mrs. Susan Page, Bountiful and Mrs. Martha Burningham, Bountiful, survive as do three brothers, William and John of Bountiful and Ralph of Garland.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. in the West Bountiful chapel, and interment will follow in the Bountiful cemetery.
