Steven Joe Coleman, 69 of Mindenmines, MO, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
He was born September 26, 1950 in Pittsburg, KS the son of James and Francis (Sustarsic) Coleman.
He worked as a car shop foreman at Watco for approximately 20 years.
On January 12, 1970 he married Sarah Costulis in Pittsburg, KS, she resides at the home.
Survivors include; four sons; Shane Coleman of Mindenmines, MO, Jason (Heather) Coleman of Rural Mindenmines, MO, Kelly (Bambi) Coleman of Mulberry, KS, Rob (Tori) Coleman of McCune, KS, daughter; Shannon (Kevin) Redman of Mindenmines, MO, three sisters; Linda (Dan) Wenger of Riverside, IA, Brenda (Dennis) Trout Mindenmines, MO, Kim (John) Daugherty of Mindenmines, MO, twelve grandchildren; Tyler Coleman, Kia (Fritz) Vasquez, Jordan and Brandon Redman, Dillon (Crystal), Jaci, Kaleb, Allie, Hunter, Zach, Megan, Coy Coleman, five great grandchildren; Freddy Vasquez, Mauri, Tobias, Denver, and Blakely Coleman and many nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Jim Coleman and sister in law; Kay Coleman.
Funeral services will be 10 am on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac, KS.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Friskel Funeral Home, 230 East McKay Frontenac, KS 66763.
