She was born Sept. 16, 1920 in rural Pittsburg to Anton and Theresa Yenkole Sustarsic. She lived in the Pittsburg/Mindenmines area all of her life.
She married James O. Coleman on Dec. 20, 1941 in Girard, he preceded her in death on May 17, 1979.
She was a homemaker and worked as City Clerk for the City of Mindenmines.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Wenger of Wayland, Iowa, Brenda Trout and Kim Daugherty, both of Mindenmines; two sons, Jimmie Coleman and Steve Coleman, both of Mindenmines; one sister, Antonia Garrett of Pittsburg; 18 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frank and Tony Sustarsic; one sister, Mary Hofer; and a great-granddaughter, Kristi Yaws.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac with Rev. Gary Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where friends may call after noon on Sunday.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Friskel Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay, of Frontenac.
