On January 20, 1885 she married Joseph Ellsworth Glasgow in Washington, Iowa. She and Joe raised 6 children, including two sets of twins: Hiram Gilbert (b 1886), Iva Olive and Ida May (b 1889), Harriet Gene and Hal Wallingford (b 1894), and Joseph Ellsworth, Jr (b 1896).
She was an active member of the Eastern Star (women's Masonic group) and of her Methodist church. She was a much loved member of her family and of the community.
