Independence Daily Reporter Friday July 22, 1932
Charles Stanley, aged 66 years, died about 10 o’clock this morning, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hugh Smith southwest of Independence, following a brief illness. The deceased had no family and had lived at the Smith home for the past four years.
Funeral services will be held from the Jackson funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. J.T. Bays of the North Side Christian church, and burial will be in the Harrisonville cemetery, following the service at the chapel here.
