Mr. Lewis D. (L. D.) Bumbalough age 86 passed away Wednesday evening at Erlanger Health System Chattanooga, TN. He was a resident of Sparta. He was the son of the late Seth and Bitty Daniels Bumbalough.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Young Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
He is survived by 5 Sons; Thomas Lewis Bumbalough of Lebanon,TN; Bill Lee Bumbalough of Missouri, Henry Clay Bumbalough of Sparta, Owen David Bumbalough of Watertown, TN and James A. Bumbalough of Sparta:
3 Daughters: Henrietta Conley of Murfreesboro,TN, Mary R. Mitchell of Nashville, TN and Naomi Dishman of Sparta,
1 Brother: Charlie Bumbalough of Monterey,TN
4 Sisters: Bessie Bumbalough of Sparta, Reba Nell Austin of Sparta, Notie Ruth Norton of Sparta, and Ruby Conley of Sparta.
17 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.
