FRANK ALLEN
Wall Lake - Funeral services for Frank Allen, 76, Wall Lake, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home here. He died at his home in Wall Lake Jan. 27.
The Rev. John Robertson conducted the services. Harry McCutcheon was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Lyle Willhoite. Pallbearers were Roy E. Allen, Dwaine Allen, Russell Titus, John C. Allen, Kenneth L. Smith and Robert Beisch. Burial was in the Wall Lake Cemetery.
Mr. Allen, a mechanic who spent all of his life in the Wall Lake area, was noted for his model train hobby.
Surviving are his wife, Florence; two sons, Edward and Russell Allen, Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Jackson, Northland, Wash.; Mrs. Ruth Tomberlin, St. Catherine, Fla.; and Genevieve Allen, Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
