Funeral services for John Everett Mitchell, 65, brother of Mrs. R. H. Hammett of this city, who died in Ruston with burial in the Greenwood cemetery there.
Surviving are his widow; three sons, Lasker L. Mitchell of Mobile, Ala., John A. Mitchell of Ruston, PM3-c Henry Mitchell of the navy; three granddaughters, two brothers, E. L. Mitchell of Loveland, Texas, L. W. Mitchell, Ruston; four sisters, Mrs. W. M. Wilder and Mrs. W. G. Dowlin, Mrs. A. R. Norris of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. R. H. Hammett of Shreveport.
