Son of Charles and Hannah Broadbent Adcock.

William Adcock, a pioneer miller of south Davis county, died at the home of Harry Hayes at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. About ten days before, after having gotten some peaches, which he had picked in Mr. Hayes' orchard for his own use, and while he was on the way home he suffered a stroke causing his left side to become paralyzed. He has only been partially conscious sense and had no use of his arm but his leg was improving. He was taken to the home of Mr. Hayes who, together with his wife, nursed him up to his death.

Deceased was 73 years old on the 16th of last April and was a native of England. He crossed the ocean with his parents in December, 1855. The family lived in Canada before moving to Utah. They located in Bountiful in a very early day and he, like his father, used to grind grain in the grist mill in the south end of Davis county.

Mr. Adcock was unmarried.

Funeral services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in the Bountiful Second ward meeting house.
