Ann Hobbs Franks, 77, died Thursday, August 7, 2003 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Services are 3:00 p.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church in Jackson. Mark Seepe Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Franks, daughter of Henry Ware and Sara Herring Hobbs, was born in Brookhaven on July 25, 1926. She was a graduate of Millsaps College and a member of Chi Omega sorority, the Junior League, the Woodland Hills Garden Club and the LeDejeuner, Southern and Monday luncheon clubs.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Kenneth Irvin Franks; brother, Henry Ware Hobbs, Jr.

Her daughter, Sara Hope Franks and son-in-law, Michael O. Moore of Washington, D.C., and by six beloved nieces, nephews and their progeny survive her.
Age: 77 yrs.
