Sarah never married and never had children. She remained living in her parents home and shows up on each census until she alone shows up on the 1850 census, shortly after her father's death in 1849. Sarah cared for her widower father, in his old age. Sarah's father, Daniel Daniels, made special provisions for Sarah in his Will probated in 1849 and administered by her younger brother John Daniels (1800-1886). She was buried in the Daniels family burial plot with her father, her siblings who predeceased her, and several other family members on what was her father's original homestead. Several years later this property was sold, out of the family, and what remains of the field stone grave markers are located on private property.
