Mr. Raymond Lee Hamilton, 77, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on July 24, 2019, at Cleveland Nursing and Rehab. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Crockett Kennedy and Rick Milan officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Garden.
Raymond was born on April 7, 1942, to Bennie and Margaret Hamilton in England, Arkansas. On January 2, 1963, he married Martha Milan in Lake Village, Arkansas. Raymond was a man of faith, he traveled to Mexico and Haiti for missionary work and was always in communication with God. He loved listening to music, hunting, fishing, getting switches off of trees, and loved his “Moochie Ann”.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hamilton; parents, Bennie and Margaret Hamilton; son, Darrell Hamilton; brother, James Hamilton, Leonard Hamilton, and Robert Hamilton; sister, Katie Louise Buffkin; great grandchild, Matthew Hamilton; and great grandchild, Alexis Hamilton.
Raymond is survived by his four children, LaWanna Bowen (Bubba), George Hamilton, Frankie Hamilton (April), and Stacey Hamilton (Kristina); 16 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
