Mrs. Johnson, 97, of Winona, died of heart failure December 14, 2004 at her residence.
She was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church in Winona and a retired welfare worker for the Montgomery County Welfare Dept.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Johnson; son, Glen Johnson; and step-son, James Merritt Johnson.
Survivors include her brother, Samuel Robert Hammond of Hattiesburg; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
