Death of Mrs. Carson Ward.
Rockville, Md., Sept. 14 —Mrs. Carson Ward, of Gaithersburg, this county, dropped dead in the street yesterday morning from heart disease resulting from rheumatism. Mrs. Ward was formerly Miss Coombs, of the upper section of the county, and the wife of Mr. Carson Ward, a successful merchant of Gaithersburg. She leaves a husband and one child surviving her.

Tuesday morning Mrs. Kate Ward, wife of Mr. Carson Ward, of Gaithersburg, was stricken with neuralgia of the heart while returning from a walk with her little daughter, Laura, and died instantaneously. Friends and passers-by hurried to her side and removed her to the residence of Miss Gloyd. Doctors E.H. Etchison and J.H. McCormick were summoned and endeavored to resuscitate her, but without effect. Mrs. Ward was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Coomes, of Gaithersburg. She was thirty-one years of age. Her husband and daughter survive her.
