August 11, 1935 - April 30, 2008 Resident of Redwood City Passed away peacefully at Stanford Hospital, April 30, 2008 at the age of 72. He was born August 11, 1935 in Dodge, NE and was a resident of Redwood City for 51 years.

Dearly beloved husband of Marlene (Meem) Pruss of Redwood City. Cherished father of Eugene (Kristi) Pruss of Hamburg, NY. Devoted grandpa of Alexander and Allison Pruss. Loving brother of Albert Pruss of Midland, MI, Francis Pruss of Cedar Rapids, IA, Richard (Doris) Pruss of Dodge, NE, Fr. Rod Pruss of Goodyear, AZ and the late James, Emil, Edward, Leonard and Eugene Pruss. Dear brother-in-law of Marilyn Julian of Fremont, NE and Bea Pruss of No. Highlands, CA. Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Ted graduated from North Bend High School, where he was known as 'Smiley'. He lettered in all sports and excelled in baseball. He received his MBA degree from Golden Gate University and worked for several semi-conductor companies in Silicon Valley.

Ted was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, National Accountants Association, St. Pius Seniors and a devout parishioner of St. Pius Church.

Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 7 PM and the Funeral Mass on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 1 PM followed by a reception at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City.
