In researching him, I have found that his first wife was Mary Elizabeth Jackson, born in Crieve, Monaghan Co. Ireland. They married; 14 July, 1840, Mississippi.
She and he had five children;
Justiana (Jettie) b. 1842; John Jackson b. 1843; Mary E. b. 1844 d. 1844, (Buried; Ripley Cemetery, Ripley, Tippah Co, Miss.) Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Jr. b. 1847; Sarah Mary Elizabeth b. 1850.
Mary Elizabeth Jackson Word; died 13 March 1852, Holly Springs, Marshall Co, Miss.

Third wife is Mary Lucretia Boothe Jackson, but the widow of Frederick S. Jackson. She and Thomas J. Word were married 10 May, 1871, Anderson Co, Texas. Their daughter was; Eoline Word.

St. Phillip's Church burned in 1989. The plaque was saved.
