Mrs. Thelma Bertram age 75, of the Concord Community, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, June 27, 2019. Born December 4, 1943 to the late David Eugene Cochran and Lennie Byrd Cochran of the Concord Community. She married Rev. Leonard M. Bertram on June 19, 1970. She was a member of the Pleasant Home Separate Baptist Church in Rugby for over 40 years. She was a current member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, infant sister, Frances Cochran; special aunt, Ollie Byrd; Freddie Byrd & Mr. & Mrs. Doug and Emma Bertram all of the Concord Community.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Leonard M. Bertram of the Concord Community; son, Wendell Gene Cochran of Oneida; daughter, Melissa & husband Harold Daugherty, Jr., of Fairview; son, Sheldon & wife Crystal Bertram of Concord; sisters, Zelma & Richard Kimbrell of West Robbins, Sandra & Bill Kelsey of Mason City, IL; cousin, Anna Rose & Earl Moore of Helenwood; grandchildren, Brian & David Cochran, Alenna & Xander Daugherty, Spencer Bertram, Donaven & Cody McBride; great grandchildren, Briley & Jonah Cochran, Chloe & Brinley Mason; many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Sunday afternoon, June 30, 2019 at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Kimbrell, Rev. Randall Kimbrell and Rev. Jeremy Kimbrell officiating. Music will be provided by the Concord Missionary Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Wendell Cochran, Sheldon Bertram, Paul Bauswell, Dicky Bertram, William Jones, and Chris Sexton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Arvis Blakely, Brian Cochran and David Cochran.
