Freddie Junior Byrd, age 66 of Robbins, TN passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Scott County, TN on November 3, 1947. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Freddie was preceded in death by his mother Ollie Byrd and step-son, Perry Young.
He is survived by his daughter, Nichole Litton and husband Matthew, son, Trent Byrd and wife Jessica all of Robbins, TN; step-son, Kelvin Young, Sr. and wife Lisa of Oneida, TN, step-daughter, Judy King and husband Richard of Robbins, TN; sister, Anna Rose Moore and husband Earl of Helenwood; his companion, Anna Faye Bowling; the mother of his children, Patricia Byrd; two grandchildren, Lantanna and Gage Litton; five step-grandchildren, Felecia Reynolds, Kelvin Young, Jr., Perry, Paxton, and Jace King. He also leaves many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Bryd family on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Kelvin Young, Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Robbins, TN
