A union of two prominent Adams county families took place this morning, when Reverend Dittmer, pastor of the Lutheran church in Ursa, united in marriage, at his home, Walter L. Brickman and Miss Bertha Hesse.
The young couple were attended by the groom's brother Charles, and the bride's brother, sister, and cousin: Charles Hesse, Miss Elizabeth Hesse, and Miss Selma Schnelle.
The wedding party motored out to the Hesse farm near Ursa, after the ceremony, where a wedding luncheon was served at noon, to be followed by a reception and wedding supper tonight.
Mr. Brickman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Brickman, among the largest land holders in Lima township. His bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Hesse of Ursa township, [who are] also prominent farmers of the county. They will go to Lima to live on a farm.
