He was a labourer and died at Bellevue Street, Folkestone. He was buried on the 25th April 1879. He married Elizabeth on 24 Dec 1832 in Womenswould, Kent. In 1871 they were living at 15 Bellevue Field with one son, James aged 14, and a nurse child.
