OBITUARY
William P. Messerschmidt, 75, of Bonduel, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 1984, at Shawano.
He was born Dec. 17, 1908 in the Town of Pella. Most of his life was spent farming in the Bonduel area. He also was caretaker at Hillside Apartments in Bonduel for 12 years. On March 28,1928, he married Edna Gumz in the Town of Herman. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel.
Survived by his wife, Edna; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Florence) Mavis of Shawano; Mrs. Henry (Ethel) Svetnicka of Appleton; Mrs. William (Evangeline) Thiede of Bonduel and Mrs. Ken (Donna) Seefeldt of Chippewa Falls; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert (Louise) of Shawano; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Martha) Rades, Route 2, Marion; Mrs. Leonard (Gusta) Fenn, Townsend; Mrs. Ella Grothe, Clintonville; preceded in death by one son, Roger, two sons-in-law, Harold Thompson and Robert Braumschreiber; one granddaughter, Kathie Thompson, five brothers and one sister.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bonduel. Rev. Roland Gotz officiating; burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, after 4 p.m. today, and then at the church on Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m.
