Soldiers' Home Notes.
Benjamin F. Orndorff died Wednesday morning of heart disease, aged 70 years. He served in the civil war as private in Company G, Sixth regiment Virginia volunteer infantry, having enlisted in October, 1864, and was discharged at Wheeling, W. Va., on June 13, 1865, having served nine months. Mr. Orndorff was born at Pendleton, Va. He was admitted to the Home from Saunders county, Neb., on January 16, 1900. The funeral arrangements have not been made as yet.
