Illness Fatal to Mrs. Dixon
Mrs. Mary Dixon, who had been in ill health for a long time and had only recently, suffered an attack of pneumonia, passed away Thursday afternoon shortly before six o’ clock, at her home on east sixth street. Her age at death was 76 years, 4 months and 6 days.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. C. M. Wilson were held at the United Presbyterian church Monday afternoon and were largely attended
"Marietta Orendorff was born Nov. 15, 1863, at Wheeling, West Virginia. On Oct. 11, 1876 she was united in marriage to Nelson Bliss. To this union were born nine children, all of whom survive her.
On Dec. 17, 1931 she was married to Oliver Dixon. He passed, away May 4, 1934. She leaves to mourn her passing five sons and four daughters.
