"Donald A. Loftus Dies in Naval Hospital in Maryland Donald Albert Loftus, 41, U.S. Navy, died Tuesday, September 24, at the Naval Hospital at Bethesda, Maryland, following a short illness. Mr. Loftus had completed 20 years in the U.S. Navy on September 7. He was a graduate of the Moores Hill High School and following graduation he made the Navy his career. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ulrich & Sibbett funeral home, Moores Hill. Floyd Becker Post #209, American Legion, conducted services at the grave at Riverview Cemetery, Aurora. He is survived by a daughter, Beverly, Indianapolis; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Loftus, of Chesterville; a sister Mrs. Alberta Price, of Aurora, and a brother, Wallace, of Indianapolis."
