On May 9, 2019 our father, grandfather, and beloved husband passed through the veil while surrounded by his family in his home.

Robert was born on August 5, 1940, to Mabel May and Charles Owen Fulton of Soda Springs, Idaho. He married his sweetheart, Marilyn Faye Simpson. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on March 11, 1959.

He was the father of 8 children, 3 girls and 5 boys. He took great pleasure in working hard to raise his children as a Master Electrician, always making time as a mentor, coach, and example of true fatherhood.

Robert grew up playing all types of sports and participated in choir. Pickle Ball has become his most recent activity in life, and enjoyed all who would embrace this new sport with his same enthusiasm.

He was an avid fan of his family members. Robert and his wife never missed any of their children’s music performances, plays, or their many sporting events.

His testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was strong. He led a life-long example to his family of the great plan of happiness. He was a strong individual who demonstrated great loyalty and service to his loved ones. Robert loved and cared for those he served.

His sweetheart Marilyn had passed before him on October 27, 2013, later remarrying on August 1, 2015 to Wanona Grace Unsworth. Robert is survived by his wife, Wanona Grace Fulton; his children, Craig (Cindy) Fulton, Lorraine (Dave) O’brien, Brent (Jennifer) Fulton, Jill (Wes) Swaney, Mark (Anita) Fulton, Chad (Cassandra) Fulton, Brad (Jennifer) Fulton, and Ashley Stock; and stepchildren, Debbie, Jerry, Brenda, Cindy, Teresa, And Lonie. The collective, endearing grandchildren and great-grandchildren will dearly miss him.

Robert’s legacy of faith, service, and love will have a lasting impression on all those who knew him!

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Alpine Utah West Stake Center, 327 Long Drive Court, Alpine, Utah.

Friends may call at the church Tuesday, May 14 from 6-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
