"Ovid - Mrs. Carolyn E. Woodward, 67, of Sheldrake Rd., died Saturday, Aug. 17, 1974 at Lakeside Nursing Home, Ithaca, after a long illness. She was born at Hornby and had been a resident of Sheldrake for 30 years. She is survived by her husband, John Woodward; two daughters, Mrs. John (Joan) Russell of Ovid and Mrs. Roy (Evelyn) Hogben of Newfield; six grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond McLaughlin of Interlaken and Patrick McLaughlin of Ovid; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth Ballard of Ovid; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hurlbut Funeral Home, Interlaken. Rev. Nicholas Van Derweide, pastor of the Reformed Church officiated.
