DEWEY HOBSON HARRIS DIES AT HOME IN HEFLIN
Dewey Hobson Harris, 49, of Heflin, died at 12:25 o'clock this morning at his residence after an illness of three week.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Heflin Church of God, with the Rev. A. L. Burroughs, the Rev. G. D. Garner and the Rev. Mr. Coggins officiating. Burial will be in the Edwardsville Cemetery, Colonia in charge.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife; two sons, Edward of Heflin, and Gordon of Anniston; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtice Roberts of Anniston, and Mrs. Aleen McCormack, Mrs. Mozell Pruitt, and Misses Myrtle Lee and Ollie Mae Harris, all of Heflin; his father, Parker Harris of Lineville; three brothers, 11 sisters, and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Harris was born and reared in Clay County.
