JANUARY 4, 1933 ~ APRIL 26, 2019 (AGE 86)

Mrs. Icye Elnora Jones Travis, 86 of Covington, passed away on the afternoon of Friday, April 27, at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Travis, the widow of Mr. Sales Leon Jones, Sr. and Mr. Paul Willis Travis, was an employee at A O Smith and a member of the Hebron Community Church.

Mrs. Travis is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Shelton of Covington; her sons, David (Dianne) Jones of Ripley and Sales (Judy) Jones, Jr. of Covington; her seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her siblings, Verna Mai Overton, James Lynn Daniels, James Edward Daniels, John C. Daniels, Dave Daniels, Jr., O'neal Daniels, Alma Ruth Shires, Margaret Ann Stafford, and Marie Cox. Mrs. Travis was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ruby Fowler Daniels; and by her siblings, Ethridge Daniels, Joe Daniels, R. D. Daniels, WM Richard Daniels, Kenneth Daniels, and Bobby Gene Daniels.

The services for Mrs. Travis will be held on Tuesday, April 30, at 1PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation will take place Monday night from 5-8 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery.
