Kenneth Daniels, 69, of Brighton, passed away on Monday, April 13. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 17 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at the funeral home. Mr. Daniels was a member of the Tennessee National Guard, attended Covington First Assembly of God Church, was an avid fisherman and a retired auto mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Daniels; four sons, Jeffery Wayne Daniels of Covington, Stephen Keith Daniels of Dyer and Michael Avery Daniels and Justin Allen Daniels, both of Ripley; five sisters, Verna Mae Overton, Icye Daniels Travis, Alma Ruth Shires, all of Covington; Margaret Ann Stafford of Memphis; and Marie Cox of Burlison; six brothers, Richard Daniels, Lynn Daniels, Jimmy Daniels, John Daniels, all of Illinois, Dave Daniels of St. Petersburg, FL and Oneal Daniels of Kentucky and six grandchildren.
