Elaine was born on September 10, 1934, on the Bar H Ranch, north of Reva, SD to James and Mary (Wicks) Thybo.
On Valentine’s Day, 1952, she had her first date with the love of her life, LeVern Larson. On June 5, 1955 they were married at the American Lutheran Church in Bison and continued to date regularly.
Elaine loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and many friends and neighbors. She was a 20-year breast cancer survivor and also survived a house fire and an attack of a 1,000# hay bale.
She was preceded in death by a baby boy born in 1958, her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Marge and Floyd Wulf of Vale, SD.
