Marguerite "Marge" V. Wulf ,81, Vale passed peacefully to Heaven Friday, March 21 at Hospice House, Rapid City, after a brief illness.

Marge was born May 14, 1932 in Deadwood, SD to Mary B. (Wicks) and James M. Thybo. Marge, the eldest of 4 children, was raised on the family ranch in the Slim Buttes of Harding County and graduated from Bison High School. After high school she worked at Mill's Drug in Rapid City. She was a teacher for one year then worked in the ASC office in Bison. She and her sister Elaine owned a dress shop in Bison.

Marge married the love of her life, Floyd Wulf, on March 14, 1959. No children were born to this union, however, Marge and Floyd had more children than they could count. Marge was "Mom" to nieces and nephews, children and many adults considered Marge as their second Mom. Marge and Floyd farmed in the Mound City area, worked construction in Wyoming, before settling in Vale, SD where Floyd farmed with his brother and Marge worked for the ASC Office in Sturgis and The Drug Store of Sturgis for 23 years.

Marge and Floyd loved to fish, hunt for artifacts, square dance and entertain friends in their home in Vale. The coffee was always on, a homemade treat baked and ready to eat, a piece of candy available for any "little one" that walked through the door. Their dogs, all except one named Tip, were always at their side, whether working pigs or begging for a dish of ice cream.
Marge is survived by her aunt Helen Hoar, brother, Arlo "Buck" Thybo, sisters, Elaine (LeVern) Larson and Marie (James) Donohue, cousin Lorraine Wicks Fuller, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with a Rosary service beginning at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Belle Fourche with Fr. Tyler Dennis officiating. Burial follows at the Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.

Memorials have been established to the Vale Community Hall, Vale Fire Department and Vale City Park.
