‎ ‎ ‎ CALDWELL — Services for Mrs. Gladys Vera Alfonso, 60, 2216 College Avenue, who died Thursday at her home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Clinton L. Powell of Memorial Park Baptist Church.
‎ ‎ ‎ Mrs. Alfonso was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Elgin, Ore., where she was reared. She attended Nampa High School, and lived in Nampa until moving to Kennewick, Wash:, in 1931. She moved to California in 1952 and came to Caldwell in 1970. She had worked at the Odd Fellows Home as a nurses aide.
‎ ‎ ‎ Surviving are three sons, James A. Pollock, Caldwell, Gerald L. Pollock, Cantwell, Alaska and Duane D. Pollock, Nampa; a daughter, Mrs. Deleva A. Nickell, Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ann Vad, Newport, Wash., and 10 grandchildren.
