CALDWELL — Services for Mrs. Gladys Vera Alfonso, 60, 2216 College Avenue, who died Thursday at her home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Clinton L. Powell of Memorial Park Baptist Church.
Mrs. Alfonso was born Nov. 29, 1913, in Elgin, Ore., where she was reared. She attended Nampa High School, and lived in Nampa until moving to Kennewick, Wash:, in 1931. She moved to California in 1952 and came to Caldwell in 1970. She had worked at the Odd Fellows Home as a nurses aide.
Surviving are three sons, James A. Pollock, Caldwell, Gerald L. Pollock, Cantwell, Alaska and Duane D. Pollock, Nampa; a daughter, Mrs. Deleva A. Nickell, Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ann Vad, Newport, Wash., and 10 grandchildren.
