On the afternoon of Tuesday, the 22nd ult., at 2 o'clock, of SPINAL MENINGITIS, TOMMY ERNEST, infant son of M. MARSHALL and VICTORIA MURDOCK, aged four months.
A loving Mother's sacred faith, - the frustrated hopes on idolizing Father, would indite a volume of affection's memories, crushed hopes and defeated desires, but wherefore. As the fragrant bud suddenly bereft of its luster by a chill breath, so sweetly faded the light from out the trusting eyes of our precious boy. The noble, lovable little fellow whose large promise and cherry ways made only too bright our now sorrowful home, has bid us good-by as the mandate of Him who declares that "of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. Enough. Our bright jewel is set, the casket beyond our kindness, the vase broken and nought remains to light the lonesome void, save a sweet memory, and the hope of immortality.
