Memorial services for Sylvia Ann Bryant, 77, of Tatum will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with Rev. Kenny Turlington officiating. Mrs. Bryant passed away at home Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
A lifetime resident of the East Texas area, Mrs. Bryant was born April 14, 1937, in Mineola to John Robert and Mattie A. Dykes Hughes. She was a private in-home sitter. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, Glenn Bryant, who preceded her in death in December 2011. Mrs. Bryant enjoyed bowling in the Ladies' American Bowling League.
Mrs. Bryant is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Glenn and Betty Bryant of Kilgore; George, Sr. and Pamela Bryant of Tatum; two daughters and son-in-law, Martha Ann Bryant of Whitney; and Debra Jean and Varon Heitz of Bastrop; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Cody Malone of Lindale; and one brother and sister-in-law, James Patrick and Peggy Hughes of Marshall.

Her sister Alice Faye Hughes Malone passed away in 2017.
