Her survivors include sisters; Lottie Thomas, Floy Crump, and Melba Hester. Brother; Weems S. Dykes. Daughters; Sylvia Ann Bryant and Alice Faye Malone. And son; James Patrick Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; John Robert Hughes. Sister; Donnie Moseley. Brothers; Boncil Dykes and Elton Dykes. And son; Billy Rex Hughes.
