Born in Tompkinsville on May 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Alvy and Delphia Howard and the wife of Norman B. Walters, who survives.
Other than her husband, survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne A. and Tammie Walters; a step-daughter and her husband, Debbie and Jim Gorman; four sisters, Dorothy Keys, Juanita Scott, Talega Doolin and Nina Downing; a brother, Clestor Howard; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Greenwood (Ind.) Cemetery.
