-She was born July 7, 1913, in Des Moines to Edward O. and Minnie E. Cox Clarkson. She married William "Jake" Jessop in April 8, 1936, in Ottumwa. He died May 28, 1977.
- She was a homemaker and member of East End Pentecostal Church of God.
-She is survived by two sons, Raymond Jessop of Hammon, Okla., and Marvin L. Jessop of Des Moines; a daughter, Cleo Osteen of Ottumwa; six sisters, Viola M Jessop of Tampa, Fla., Lillie V. Cox and Mildred E Cox of Ottumwa, Eleanor S. Bullock od Brookfield, Mo., Julia P, Mabbott of Rainier, Wash., and Hazel A. Fuller of Peoria, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
- She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, four sisters and two daughters.
- The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, the Rev. Loyal Hepker of East End Pentecostal Church of God officiating.
-Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
- Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
- Pallbearers will be Chuck and Larry Denham, Vernon Cunningham, Roy Jessop, Don Pilcher and Harry Cowger.
